One cozy Friday evening, rain gently tapped against the roof of the RV.
The family had already eaten dinner.

Mom laughed.

“There’s a game about dragons?”

Mom smiled.
Everyone gathered around the little RV table.
Mom put on a dramatic voice.
“I shall be your Dungeon Master.”

“…That sounds important.”

Mom nodded with a grin.

Mom helped everyone make their heroes.

Elder Emberwing, an ancient dragon guardian who preferred helping others instead of fighting.
Dragon Claw smiled proudly.

🏰 The Adventure Begins
Mom spread out a map.
“Our heroes arrive at Castle Catnip…”
“…where a golden tuna treasure has been stolen by a mischievous goblin.”
“Goblin!”

“We’ll save the tuna!”
The team entered the castle.
Immediately…
They reached two hallways.
“The left hallway is dark…”
Mom explained.
“The right hallway smells like cookies.”

“Adventure!”

“Cookies!”
Everyone looked at Lily.
“…Whichever hallway has fewer stairs.”
🎲 Rolling the Dice
Mom handed everyone colorful dice.

Chad rolled.

Mom laughed.
“Captain Whiskers doesn’t just jump over the trap…”

Everyone looked at Lily.
Lily slowly curled into a tiny ball.

Within seconds…
Tiny little snores filled the RV.
Mom rolled behind her screen.
“The magical door glows…”
“…and opens.”
“…The castle recognizes…”
“…the most peaceful nap in the kingdom.”
Lily never even woke up.

said Dragon Claw.

At the treasure room…
The goblin looked frightened.

he squeaked.
Dragon Claw looked at Mom.
“Can I try talking?”
Mom smiled.
“You certainly can.”
Dragon Claw rolled.

“…he only stole the golden tuna because he was lonely.”
Everyone became quiet.
Agaricus smiled.
“Can we invite him to eat with us instead?”
Mom nodded.

Instead of fighting…
Everyone shared sandwiches.
The goblin returned the golden tuna.
And he promised to visit the castle as a friend instead of sneaking in.
🏆 The Greatest Treasure
As the adventure ended…
Mom closed the rulebook.
“You have completed your first campaign.”
Chad raised both paws.
“We won!”
Echo laughed.
“I only fell into one bucket.”
“Two.”
Agaricus corrected.
“…Two buckets.”
Che-Ni-Mon hugged her blanket.
“My blanket saved everybody.”
Dragon Claw smiled warmly.
“I liked solving problems without fighting.”
Lily stretched after her legendary in-game nap.
“…I was useful…”
“…while sleeping.”
Mom giggled.
“You were essential.”
Everyone laughed so hard that even Webster, watching safely from his little corner near the ceiling, seemed to wiggle happily in his web.
Outside, the rain continued to fall.
Inside, the little RV was filled with laughter, imagination, and one unforgettable adventure.
And as Chad carefully packed the colorful dice back into the box, he grinned.
“Next Friday…”
“…can we play again?”
Mom smiled.
“I think the kingdom might need its heroes once more.”
The whole RV erupted with excited cheers.
