🏡🐾 A Sleepover at Jack’s House 🐾🏡

One bright Saturday morning, Mom clapped her hands.

“I have a surprise!”

The kittens immediately gathered around.

“What is it?”

asked Chad.

“Treasure?”

asked Agaricus.

Echo came running from the other room.

“Adventure?”

Che-Ni-Mon peeked out from behind her blanket.

“…Is it a calm surprise?”

Lily yawned from the couch.

“…Please say it starts after my nap.”

Mom smiled.

“We’re going to visit…”

“…Jack!”

“JACK?!”

everyone cheered.

Dragon Claw lowered his head beside the RV.

“I’ll fly us there!”

Within minutes, the RV gently landed outside Jack’s cozy little home.

It had flower gardens…

A white fence…

A tire swing…

And, towering over everything…

A gigantic old oak tree.

Built into the tree…

Was the biggest treehouse the kittens had ever seen.

Jack burst through the front door.

“You made it!”

He ran over and hugged everyone.

“I’m so happy you’re here!”

“So are we!”

laughed Chad.

🏃 Zoomies!

The moment they stepped inside…

The kittens exploded with excitement.

“TAG!”

shouted Chad.

“I’m gonna catch you!”

laughed Agaricus.

Echo grinned.

“Only if you can keep up!”

The three of them zoomed through the house.

Across the hallway.

Around the couch.

Over the rugs.

Jack laughed.

“You guys have so much energy!”

Che-Ni-Mon carefully walked behind them.

“…Please don’t knock over anything…”

A vase wobbled.

Everyone froze.

It stopped wobbling.

“…That was close.”

Che-Ni-Mon sighed.

🐈 Counter to Counter

Jack showed them the kitchen.

“My humans usually tell me not to…”

Before he could finish…

BOING!

Chad jumped onto one counter.

BOING!

Agaricus landed on the next.

Echo, forgetting she was one of the older sisters, laughed and joined right in.

“Last one across loses!”

The four cats leaped gracefully from counter to counter like tiny acrobats.

Dragon Claw peeked through the kitchen window.

“…You know…”

“…I don’t think humans usually encourage this.”

Mom folded her arms with a smile.

“I’ll pretend I didn’t see that…”

“…just this once.”

🌳 The Giant Treehouse

After lunch…

Jack pointed outside.

“Want to see my favorite place?”

He led everyone to the enormous oak tree.

High above the yard…

Sat a magnificent treehouse.

With bridges…

Rope ladders…

Little windows…

And even a tiny pirate flag.

“Wooooow!”

said Chad.

“It’s HUGE!”

added Agaricus.

Echo’s eyes sparkled.

“Race you to the top!”

Before anyone could answer…

She was already halfway up.

Jack laughed.

“I knew you’d say that!”

Soon…

Everyone climbed.

Even Che-Ni-Mon made it up slowly, hugging her blanket the whole way.

“…Worth it.”

she whispered as she admired the view.

Lily eventually reached the top too.

She looked around.

Found the sunniest corner.

Curled into a little loaf.

“…Excellent.”

“…This treehouse gets five stars.”

🌅 Sunset Stories

As evening arrived…

The friends sat together on the porch of the treehouse.

The sky glowed orange and pink.

Birds sang softly below.

Jack smiled.

“I’m really glad you all came.”

“So are we.”

said Agaricus.

“It already feels like home.”

Dragon Claw rested beside the tree, so tall that his head was level with the treehouse.

“This is one wonderful tree.”

he smiled.

🌙 Sleepover!

That night…

Mom spread out cozy blankets and fluffy pillows inside the treehouse.

Fairy lights twinkled overhead.

The windows were open just enough for a cool breeze.

Chad yawned.

“Best…”

“…day…”

“…ever.”

Jack smiled.

“You know…”

“…I hope you visit again soon.”

Echo grinned.

“Oh, we’re definitely coming back.”

Che-Ni-Mon wrapped everyone in one corner of her giant blanket.

“…Group blanket.”

Nobody complained.

Lily was already asleep.

Dragon Claw watched peacefully from below, making sure everyone was safe.

Mom quietly tucked the last little blanket around the kittens.

“Goodnight, babies.”

she whispered.

Outside…

The stars sparkled above the old oak tree.

Inside the treehouse…

Jack…

Chad…

Agaricus…

Echo…

Che-Ni-Mon…

And Lily all slept peacefully together after a day full of climbing, laughing, exploring, and making wonderful memories.

It wasn’t just a visit anymore.

It had become another place they could call a friend’s home.
