One sunny morning, Mom gathered everyone outside the RV.

And Dragon Claw, who smiled through the open window with his giant head.
“I have a surprise.”
Mom said.
The cats immediately gasped.

The whole family climbed aboard a roller coaster.

shouted Chad.

Next they walked to the beautiful castle.
The kittens stared.
“It really exists.”
whispered Agaricus.
Mom helped them take a family picture.
Dragon Claw carefully leaned his giant head into the picture from outside the castle.
Everyone laughed.
“It’s perfect.”
Mom smiled.

A familiar little mouse walked toward them.
“Mickey!”
shouted Chad.
Mickey knelt down.
He hugged Chad.
Then Agaricus.
Echo gave Mickey a high-five.

Lily politely nodded.
Dragon Claw smiled from outside the fence.
Mickey looked up.

🍦 Lunch Time
Mom bought everyone their favorite treats.
Chad got a giant Mickey-shaped cookie.
Agaricus picked fresh fruit.
Echo somehow finished her snack first.
Che-Ni-Mon carefully made sure no birds were trying to steal hers.
Lily enjoyed a quiet ice cream while everyone else talked.

🎆 The Parade
Music filled the streets.
Princesses waved.
Pirates marched.
Toy soldiers danced.
Characters from every story rolled by.
The kittens waved with all their little paws.
Dragon Claw watched from above.
His giant smile could probably be seen from space.
Then came…
The fireworks.
Everyone gathered in front of the castle.
The sky grew dark.
The first firework exploded.

“…Pretty!”
BOOM!
“…Still scary!”
Echo smiled at every explosion.
Lily looked toward the sky.
“…These are quieter than Fourth of July.”
“I approve.”
Suddenly…
Dragon Claw looked around.
“I have an idea.”
He carefully flew high above the castle.
Far away from the fireworks.
Making sure everyone stayed safe.
Then…
He gently breathed tiny little bursts of colorful dragon fire into the sky.
Green.
Blue.
Pink.
Golden.
The dragon fire danced alongside the fireworks like magical shooting stars.
The crowd below gasped.
“They’re beautiful!”
Nobody knew where the colorful lights had come from.
Only the RV Guardians smiled.
“Good job, Dragon Claw.”
said Chad.
Dragon Claw blushed.
“I just wanted to help.”
The fireworks ended.
The castle sparkled.
Everyone slowly walked back toward the RV.
Echo was already asleep on Mom’s shoulder.
Che-Ni-Mon hugged the Mickey plush Mom had surprised her with.
Agaricus quietly looked through all the pictures they had taken.
Lily yawned.
“…Best part?”
asked Chad.
“The ride?”
“The castle?”
“The fireworks?”
Lily thought for a moment.

Everyone smiled.
Dragon Claw gently lifted the RV into the night sky.
The castle slowly disappeared below them.
As they flew home beneath the stars…
